Unidentified Flying Objects. Everyone's heard of them, but are they real ?. It is said that between 90 and 95% of all UFO sightings can be explained. Aircraft lights, balloons, planets (especially Venus), meteors, strange weather conditions etc.
Unidentified Flying Objects have been around since early Roman times, but the phrase Flying Saucer was not coined until June 1947. Pilot, Kenneth Arnold, spotted a formation of 'craft' over the Washington State Cascade mountain range. He told reporter, Bill Bequette, that they were moving 'like a saucer would if you skipped it across water'. It is generally regarded as the start of the modern UFO era.
UFO's have been seen in every region around the world, some places more than others. These places are dubbed Hot Spots. UFO's have been observed by various people including Presidents, actors, police officers, airline pilots and armed forces personnel.
